I already love Calla, Trystan, Kylan, Brone, Feng, Andres, Melaina, Sabine, Sebastian and the rest of the gang, and I can't wait to get more of them. So much has happened in this book, you can't help but to feel for Calla, her life is turned upside down in just one night, everything she thought she knew, isnt what it seemed. Although he may pile an overwhelming amount of work onto his co-players, the Heir of Blood would be something of a workaholic himself- He was given responsibility, and constantly wants to work harder on whatever he can. What a wonderful beginning to a fabulous new adventure. Because, though the Heir may be hyper sensitive to everything, they are the best at actually making a cohesive, effective team. Karkat's got nothing on this guy. The Heir of Blood is the ultimate leader class. A vampire story filled with magic, secrets and a smouldering romance! Something to think about. Cameo Renae is such an awesome story-teller. I have been waiting for this book since a shorter version was published in One. The story is intricate and dark with turns around every page as we journey with Calla to find answers. It has lead me on a perilous journey fraught with untold horror and the threat of the death of any kind of hope only to swing the pendulum in the opposite direction and prove to us that no matter what others think each of us can slowly rise to fill the role we were born to take over. If not, what are you waiting for?! I have read some of her other books and I have come to find that you can always expect nothing but the best from her. Calla life changes drastically on her eighteenth birthday. The mansion was a great place for pranks and it was more of a challenge to prank the alert guards, which made things more exciting; of course the twins would have to watch what they said about magic and the wizarding world.
