Per person we only paid less than 2.7 million IDR for 3 days, the third day we were meant to climb lake tujuh but we were in too much pain to do so, so he quickly made suggestions and arranged for us to visit lake kerinci, hot springs, waterfall and meals included. First the hike in the jungle is really nice especially if your enjoy wildlife, we saw many birds, squirrels and monkeys. There is some marking along the trail and by paying attention as well as using the GPS track of Gunung-Bagging as a lifeline you don’t risk much. In places, the paths were completely washed away and for the next few hours we climbed, skidded, slipped and scrambled along the muddy trail as the rain continued to fall and the winds got stronger. Yellow-mitred leafmonkeys and siamang are also regularly sighted. The hike itself was not extremely easy but definetly manageable as we are not experienced hikers and only somewhat sporty. What a hike! I spent 40min on top and then started to descend.
