I do regret not getting a bigger bed though (I got a DB). Had intended to use it as an interim frame while we searched for the right "high end" platform bed, but I am fairly sure we will be just as happy with this as any higher end frame. I had to buy longer bolts, and make my own spacer out of spare wood to complete the assembly, which I should never have to do. Bought the Queen version and found it very easy to assemble, plus I like the nifty hex key they provided. Only thing is getting used to the lower height of the bed. It arrived within a few days and was super easy to assemble (the instructions are very easy to follow).
One bolt hole was bad; had to re-thread it, but still a great value, and otherwise really well-made. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. Shipping packaging protected it well. This page works best with JavaScript. We love the minimalist look and while there is no headboard, the bad memories of our IKEA beds is no longer in our lives. Good packaging and shipping. I am pleased to see that the parts are individually wrapped (I guess it is to avoid abrasion) there is no damage to the metal nor timber components, Reviewed in Australia on 10 February 2020. The front and back metal brackets were bowed, plastic rubber feets were smashed in, and the middle bar was about 0.5 inch short (look at pic).
The product is very well packaged within a thick box. But it's just something to think about before buying the mattress.

The last one was a MALM bed frame that definitely was over the $200 dollar mark for a Queen size bed. The reason that I can say with absolute certainty that it is sturdy is because I beat the hell out of it during the making and attaching of hardware/boards etc.
