I was here in july 1998, a great experiance...went to Sitting Bulls camp also.....From Indiana USA, Got the feel of the land and the poor looking condition of Sitting Bulls camp...It's in the middle of no ware, just thing if you were really sick and no doctor...it must have been a lonely place back in the 1800's. The village of Wood Mountain is located in south central Saskatchewan, Canada. There are markers around the grounds indicating where the other buildings were located. The host was away mowing grass when we visited but we did a self guided tour anyway.
